Sep. 21st, 2004 08:11 pmHey!
I've been watching for so long I thought I'd post something I've just finished. I'm going to a convention soon and decided I'd make myself a new faerie costume kind of Tim Burton style (My one and only God). The outfits's nearly sewn, And faerie wings are in progress but here's the first truelly fnished thing. My crown. To my suprise I've been wearing it all day and hasn't fallen off or even wobbled once. :)
Photos behind the cut.
The wire, don't ask me technical details like what gauge it was. I stole a clump of it from college before I left. (I see it as something to remember my times there). I made the frame, then covered it in purple ribbon. The dice I made from clay and are painted in acrylics. The beading is just threaded onto purple copper wire and twisted around the frame. And it's held in with hair clips wired to the base. It was my first time at making one so I'm actually pleased it doesn't look like a mass of wire after it's had a fight with the pliers and lost.
Unfortunatly my photobucket account crashed and lost the photos I took during making it so only photos of it finished.

Cheerful cow aren't I!

And one stupid photo. Faerie loves her cookies! (And playing with the self timer option.)
