I bought a really awesome CP soap making book today. Good news is I won't be buying my lye, I will be making it. During the winter we only use a wood stove, we don't use gas, oil, or electric heating methods. So I will have TONS of ashes to make lye from. I am really excited about this. It saves on money and "recycles" what I will already have. :-() I will tell you how it turns out when the time comes.
