My father bought this really pretty lamp for me but unfortunately it came with a boring white lampshade. I decided it needed some jazzing up. I tea stained it, giving it more of an off white color. I found some great wallpaper samples that had antique looking keys on it, sliced them out with an exacto knife, and decoupaged them on. This is the end result.







And here's what it looks like in the dark.




Such an improvement.
