My boyfriend's birthday is next week on the 28th. I have no job which means I have no money so I had no idea what I was going to do - he told me of course not to worry about it but I can't just sit back and not get him anything. Well, of course, last week I got a phone call from an interview I had gone to so I will have a job starting the beginning of next month...and because of that this is what I came up with for his present since I still won't have $$$ to buy him anything by the 28th :P

I made the following card for him which was all handmade by me. I just took a blank card and then glued the green paper inside and then stitched around the edges (I dont know how to sew so it's all crooked). I then found a clipart picture of a birthday cake which actually came from a font called Birthdaze and printed it out & colored and glued that to the card on the green paper.

Inside I decided to make a little "Birthday Coupon" and glued it to the card with my own personal message. The Birthday Coupon reads: This coupon entitles you to the amount of: FIFTY-FIVE DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS on anything you choose. The amount can be used in full on one purchase or multiple times until the amount of $55 is reached. (GOOD UNTIL: 10/28/05) haha and of course in the personal message I told him he can't use it until I get my first paycheck from my job. I hope he likes it...
