shoe polish?

i looked through the memories but couldn't seem to find anything relating to said topic:

i went to this crazy sale the other day and bought a bunch of awesome little round tins to use for some crafty playtime - but they're still full of "cherry red" shoe polish. i am more than happy to just scrape the stuff out and use the tins - but it's such a beautful color that I thought i'd at least ask if there was anything creative I could do with shoe polish!? so... what do you think? any ideas? Thanks!
