I made

for my roommate. I realized its hard to take a picture of yourself in a hat without either looking scary or sleepy.
Its based on this pattern Bow hat I change the yarn to a kind of manos del uruguay yarn, not manos, but similar, so i had to do a whole bunch of adjustments to # of stitches since the gauge was totally different and i change the brim to a seed stitch.

I also started the broadstreet mittens for my brother. they are pretty big on me, but I think they will only be a little bit big on him. I used lion brand magic stripes and it looks a little ridiculous, but oh well. I'm going to make my boyfriend try them on before I make the other one just to make sure they aren't ridiculously big. I just started the mitten shell. They are so fast to make, i started last tuesday and finished the glove part on Thursday or Friday. Here they are
