Does anybody know the best way to make little tags to sew inside handmade stuff like purses, etc.

other that silk screening them.
would a wood block stamp like this work maybe?
then i could stamp it with silk screen paint on to little fabric squares..does that work?
can you use paint with a stamp like that?

any help appreciated..thanks!
