craftgrrlI started making these sorta leis for my friends with those red and green peppermint and spearmint Star Brites candies that you usually see around Christmas time.
It was my mom's idea first to use it as a garland for decorating the Christmas tree or around the house, but I figured since my friends know me as "the Hawaiian girl", I thought I'd put my own touch on it and make the garland into leis for them. They're pretty easy, yet time-consuming to make, but I took some pictures while making them anyways, so if anyone wants a tutorial, just ask.
