half of my holiday scarves are done, and i want to feel accomplished, so i am posting them

okay, so this one is for me. but i really liked the green color. it's homespun, done lengthwise in a single stitch. i love it. it was my first time doing a lengthwise scarf and i really LOVE the way it turned out with the stripe and whatnot.

this is the one i made for my roommate's mom. i made it in some yarn i found in a grab bag from my local yarn store. it's "pingouin corrida no 4" according to the label. i have no idea what that is, but i do know that it's soft. it's mostly cotton, which is odd, i'm sure, for a scarf, but the mother lives in south florida, so the scarf doesn't have to be TERRIBLY warm.

this one was the first time that i had ever crocheted through just one loop, and i LOVE the way it looks. i am SO going to have to start only doing that from now on. it has a cooler, more professional look to it i think.
