craftgrrl | NYC Craft Store Question! (Reply)

Hi everyone! I'm loving all the ideas that get tossed around in this community and I've been working on some decoupage pieces which I will post very soon!

For now though, I'm really interested in alot of the candle & soap projects that people talk about. The problem is that I live in NYC and it's virtually impossible to find the right supplies.

We have no Joann's or Michaels. The closest thing to a craft store that I know of is "Pearl Paint" or the craft version of that on Lispenard Street.

My question is: Do any NYC crafty folks know of ANY good craft stores in the area - Manhattan, Brooklyn, The Bronx...anything!? I feel like I've looked everywhere!

If there aren't any real crafty craft stores, what about any stores that specialize in candle or soap making supplies - anything that anyone knows of?

Anything craft related ANYWHERE in the city? I'd be VERY grateful!
