Dec. 13th, 2004 11:21 pmI finally gave myself a swift kick in the buttocks this weekend passed to finish hairpins and brooches I had been working on over the last couple of months, just in time for Christmas (thank Bob).
I'm pretty happy with how they turned out for most of the part. I wanted them to have a homely, shabby chic sort of feel to them - something you'd find at a kooky country fair, yet, something that would go quite nicely with kimono, if need be. I think the combination of fabrics and the embellishments really add to that feeling. They are not perfect...but, I think that adds to their apeal. At least, I hope it adds to their apeal! :]
