Newbie here!!

Hello all! I'm a poor but creative college student going through a decorating kick at the moment and have hit a few snags.

1 - How can I attach a basic 12" x 12" throw pillow to the wall? One is a nylon type material, the other cotton. Some ideas I've had are suspension from the ceiling or attaching the pillows to cardboard and then nailing that to the wall.

This is the empty space. If this doesn't work, I'll probably just move that poster down some.


2 - How best can I attach a silk pillow case to a wall? It's a gorgeous pillow case from India and I'm wanting to display it, but I'm unsure how to approach this.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated and I apologize now if this post is somehow not in compliance with the community. Thank you!
