Allow me to play copy-cat
Dec. 22nd, 2004 11:25 pmAfter seeing that wonderful iguana post, I had to show you all this:

the hat is scrap yarn crocheted w/out a pattern. All I did was start with the brim and decrease in the round.
the model is Butterball, the friendly rodent we found shivering in our backyard right before Thanksgiving. When she found us, she was half the size of my palm and so sweet we just had to keep her. We headed out to our local petstore with Butterball and proceeded to pick out a cute little mouse-size cage with tubes and a running wheel. The girl at the petstore took one look at her and said "Um...you'll need a bigger cage than that. That's no mouse, you've got yourself a baby rat." That picture was taken about two weeks ago and she's at least tripled in size. They grow up so fast, don't they?
