I hate to do this, but I need some help.

You see, I made this scarf for my mom for Christmas. But I made it on smaller needles and with acrylic yarn because I'm cheap. Well, it rolled like crazy and look crappy. So I thought I might make it on circular needles. Which wouldn't be bad except for the fact that it's got a little pattern in it. When knitting on straight needles, I can just follow the pattern, but knitting in the round is a little different.

So, how would I do garter stitch in the round? That would be alternating knit and purl correct?

As for the pattern it is:
knit 32
knit 32
knit 32
knit 4 purl 24 knit 4
knit 32
knit 32
... how would I do that in the round and have it look right?

Any help would be appreciated. I'd post pics, but my camera is 4 hours away. And the scarf that's done looks like crap.
