Dec. 3rd, 2002 04:11 pmso yesterday I received next year's undergrad prospectus from MICA (Maryland Institute, College of Art). Let's discuss a few issues I have with that, and then move onward to us crafty folk.
1) I'm a junior at UMBC. I don't know why I'm still receiving these. Granted, MICA is an excellent school, and I did have my heart set on it... but I couldn't afford it three years ago, and I sure as hell can't afford it now.
2) Said Prospectus was like an effing novel. Hardcover, really thick, excellent binding I muss say, various paper weights. I opened it up, and there were all of these cool full color glossy pages and neat monochromed pages too.
3) This was the undergrad catalog! No wonder it costs upwards of 30 grand/year to go there!
Anyway, I thought this would be relevant to marble-magnet-makers out there, because there are pages of lovely 1/2 inch thumbnails that I think would make awesome magnets. I do declare, obtain one of these prospectii (sp?) immediately, if you want some nice pictures to cut out and magnetize or hang all over your wall. They're free, by the way.
