A question about binding...

craftgrrlHello everyone. Long time lurker, first time poster. I would like to bind some pages together the way a magazine does. Does anyone know what they use to keep all the pages together, so they don't fall out, and the spine remains flexible? Is it a special glue (decoupage and elmer's didn't work... half of the pages fell out), or wax, or some type of plastic? Where can I get some?
