craftgrrl | Sewing Classes in North Texas (Reply)

I'm a mostly self-taught "seamstress" (barely) but I really would like to take some sewing classes to improve upon my basic skills. For whatever reason every time I sign up for a sewing class at my local fabric store, there never seems to be an opening. I sign up at least once a month with no luck!

I am desperate to learn "formal" techniques for clothing as I'd like to eventually sell my creations & alterations on a professional level. The local community college only offers day classes integrated into their fashion design program but I really need a night & weekend course.

Anyone know of any sewing classes, programs, or tailors looking for apprentices in the North Texas area (preferably Dallas-Fort Worth)?
