craftgrrl | an ode to dr. finkelhore, cardiologist extraordinaire (Reply)

This is a pin I made for my cardiologist, because he is a kind man and an excellent doctor. I figured someone needed to tell him so. It's made of fimo. The heart measures roughly over an inch tall. I made the small bandage just using some plastic tools on the fimo, and then after I had baked it painted it the appropriate bandaid color. Finally I varnished the hell out of the the heart, but didn't put any on the bandaid. Bandaids aren't that shiney, and I liked the contrast.

Sorry about the picture. Normally the pics come out well with this camera, but tonight not so much. I couldn't get it to do the pin any justice. That's a shame, because the pin is super cute.
