random question (text only - sorry!)
Feb. 17th, 2005 04:22 pmI want to begin this by saying that I know we aren't allowed to sell in here, and I really am not - I just have a serious question about selling posibilities! If this is deemed inappropriate, just let me know!
Anyway - my fiancee is a huge fan of origami, and he asked if I could make him a "Origami Emergency Toolkit" - with room for paper, scizzors, a tweezers, and possibly a folding tool. I immediately started planning, and what I have in my head would be around 4 inches by 7 inches, sturdy, black pleather outside, zipped up on three sides, opening like a book. I am convinced I could do this and do it well. Brandon (my boy) thought that if this does turn out well we could package it with a bit of paper, a scizzors, a tweezers, and possibly a folding tool, and sell them on ebay!
So my questions ... a) do you think anyone would actually buy this? b) I could probably manufacture these for around $7 a pop - would 15 be a good price? More? Less? I don't know how much time I'd be putting into them, and I want to know if it would even be worth my time!
Thank you all for your help in advance!
