I've jumped on the kanzashi flowers bandwagon and did try to make some.
I picked up the ugliest fabrics I could find (ha ha - thing is when I first try to make something I use materials that I'm not worried to mess with) and, obvious to me, I added little poms at the center, instead of buttons or jewels.

The first I made is the white one (it's not actually all white, but ok those pics are obscure I know), which is jersey, and so for he second I thought to use something heavier, like wool (not an heavy one). The third is the worst: I made it with denim and you see, the petals are all saying goodbye each other! Don't know why this happen, I think I have problems when closing the thread with the last petal and merging all of them. How do you do this? Why my petals are so indisciplined?
