My iron is covered with about two years worth of acrylic paint, fusable interfacing, no-sew adhesive, and other miscellaneous substances that should not be found on an iron. It still works well enough, but I'm sick of ruining things whenever I iron them.
What's an easy and cheap way to get all this junk off? Will just plain soap and water work, or is there some special substance I need to use?
Thanks!
