Still pondering over resin coffee.
Feb. 23rd, 2005 08:47 pmThe feedback I got from my last post about resin coffee is much appreciated, and I have lots of wild ideas floating about.
Right now I have more sparklie goodness to share. I'm working crazy on some sculpture items right now, and getting pictures taken of things that are already finished. Hope to have some posted later tonight or tomorrow.
On to sparklies! These are some of my more recent pride and joys.
Lots of work put into them.

The teaser piece I posted just before FC.

I love those aura stones. The color splits are beautiful.

This puppy frazzled me. All of those tiny seed beads. At one point I dropped it while working... beads went everywhere, ugh.

Hematite is pretty, but it is also rather heavy. Yay iron ore!

I have lots of fun making these floating necklaces, and they look really nice when worn. This one has a very nice fall pattern.

This piece is very beautiful. The colors accent themselves rather well, and it feels... watery.

I am in love with this necklace. It has some very high quality labradorite on it. Such a hard stone to really capture in an image. You have to see the way it sparkles in person to really appreciate it. I might just keep this one for myself.

This piece is crazy on the eyes. The colors look so awesome together, and I'm rather pleased with the pattern and way the dangle falls. Perfect for white tiger or zebra enthusiasts.

This piece was a headache to put together. It was very complicated to string and arrange in structure. Overall I am very pleased with the outcome.
Feedback is appreciated! I have a slapdash sort of tutorial I put together a few months ago for simple jewelry making. It's in Word doc. format right now, but I was considering converting it and posting it to share. Would anyone be interested in seeing it?
