You know how little kids are. They always want the brands of things they see on tv. I was digging through junk and found my old rainbow Ribbon Dancer. That's right.. i bought a ribbon tied to a stick. I decided that it served a better purpose as a book covering, so that is what it became.

The Back:

Hand lef there so's you can grasp how big it is (approx 5x6 in)

The Inside

I like the inside even more than the cover. Every page is ripped on three sides for that lovely edging. There also happen to be a bunch of different kinds of paper in there: construction paper, printer paper, coloured printer paper, legal pad paper, notebook paper, graph paper, etc. ooooh i'm going to have fun writing in this journal.

But wait! There's more!

I WAS going to add a nice closure to the book. I bound it ver loosely so that i could lay it nearly flat when opened.. so i really needed to add a closure. SADLY.. as i was trying to poke through the front cover (made of ribbon on the front and back and with cardboard and considerable amounts of modge podge), my needle broke! I snapped a metal needle! Sooo.. the finished product will have to wait until tomorrow when i can go hunting in mum's room for another needle.

This is what it will kind of look like when done.

Only.. there won't be a ribbon dancer tail off to the left there.. i'll cut it and affix it somehow to the back.
