craftgrrl | Mini-present ideas? (Reply)

My friend is coming to visit me soon, and I haven't seen her in months (and won't for see her again for another year), so I wanted to make her some mini-gifts. I've looked through memories and a lot of the most recent posts, and I have found a lot that I like, but I thought I'd ask for more suggestions.

I'm not *great* at crafting, but I am decent. I have access to pretty much any inexpensive craft supplies and I own a sewing machine.

I was also considering throwing her a really, really late birthday party, if that helps anyone come up with more suggestions. The only things I'm actually planning to make right now are a mini-scrapbook and possibly a purse/bag to have all this stored in when I give it to her.

(Also, when I say "mini" I don't necessarily mean small, just nothing too over the top...that might be beyond my skill level at the moment.)

So...any suggestions would be helpful:)
