so i bought fabric to make the "roll-your-own needle case" in stitch n bitch...

but i was looking at the pattern and wondering: is the flap really necessary? see i didn't actually buy enough fabric to make the flap and now i'm wondering if i'll regret not having the flap. are the needles going to fall out all the time and totally defeat the purpose of a needle case???

any input is welcome!
