I make reconstructed clothing (primarily women's at the moment), and I sell them through a local boutique and the occasional craft fair. One thing I make is reconstructed denim skirts (examples can be seen here), and I've been thinking about making the same kinds of skirts but in kid's sizes. The only thing is, I don't know how well they would sell or where I would try to sell them at. I'm working on getting a website set up, but I'm not planning on selling directly through it at first, as right now I'm concentrating on getting my stuff in more local boutiques. I'm not sure if any local kid's clothing stores would be willing to take reconstructed garments or not; I haven't checked yet.

Does anyone have experience with something similar? Or, if you have young daughters, would you buy similar skirts for your daughter? If so, how much would you be wiling to pay? Any advice?
