totally craftyday
Mar. 6th, 2005 08:44 pmI made a huge post earlier of crafts... now it's time for the end of the day recap of what I've done.
1) made some earrings
2) made a book
3)made a notecard
4)made a tshirt
5) didn't die.

I made my first shitty little book... it's for a friend who thinks everything I do is heaven in craft form. Yay

These are for the same friend.. I really like these... if only I wore earrings

AGAIN! for the same friend (she's having back surgery in may = reason to make presents).. our inside joke is about Elton John's Tiny Dancer... I'm sure others share it though...
I swiped the tony danza stencil from here: http://www.freewebs.com/stencilry/

I'm taking an "art appreciation" class this semester, and I realized that it isn't cool to be conservative and an artist. At least not here in Dallas. (My sister said "yeah they just paint landscapes") so I made this shirt to wear proudly in the "art barn" aka our studio.

I got these beads from walmart. They rock my socks. My nephew calls it my old macdonald bracelet. (macdonald also expanded to include cheetos according to this nephew)
I also had a question for you fine folks. Has anything I've made struck your fancy as something you'd buy? My sis is trying to get me to sell my things, and I'm still leary. I love making things for friends and family, I don't know how profitable it'd be to sell the things I've made. So, any input on what is good for selling and what is bad for selling would be appreciated.
