Video Game Cross Stitching

i_go_mrow has posted this previously, but here's a site that has vintage game images mapped out (I was inspired by her metroid cross stitching project and searched around)

I'm assuming those would work for cross-stitching. They look more like how to draw pixel by pixel the different characters, but I'm thinking they might work if you get the right colors.
I think I just found my project for tomorrow night with the husband is out of town over night.
