pencil cozy!!

My sister (theapostleinme) is awesome! She sews all the time but most people don't get to see her creations. I started an art class at the community college last week and she offered to make me a pencil case that rolls up to keep my pencils from breaking and getting all scummy. It's very detailed and she made it without a guide or a pattern. I <3 it.

She messed up on the side, sewing it to the blue fake fur (which lines and cushions it), and decided to replicate it on the other side. I think it came out looking really cool with the slanty pockets. And the outside fabric is kind of a red corduroy.



She put a little pocket inside to hold my pencil sharpener and my charcoal sticks (bleh, I hate charcoal but I have to have them...), and here's a picture of the charcoal pockets she made!

First post. We're making a prom dress for a friend and hopefully we'll put up pictures of that, too. :)
