Decorating cards
Dec. 11th, 2002 07:58 pmBeen working for a few days on decorating holiday cards. I've been doing this sort of thing for a couple of years. The best images I've come up with so far are the most simplistic--lots of white space, graphical types of images. I used to only use stamps but now I'm using paper, ribbon, punches, and stamps. They're all pretty simple.
I had some xmas-y fabric, but didn't have adhesive to hold it down properly, so I gave up on using it and turned back to all paper. The bows also were a pain in the neck to make and I'm afraid they'll come off in the mailing machine. I might hand deliver those few.
This was an idea I saw someone else use. I just modified it a bit. I ran out of white cards and used up some old red ones.
This was the last batch--I got tired of glueing the lightbulbs and turned back to the snowflake punch. These are similar to ones I did last year.
The bottom three had more interesting interiors than the others.
