Card and Case!

My boyfriend just gave me an mp3 player for my birthday, and I was so excited that I stayed up half the night making a case for it!

I absolutely love this fabric! It was a Christmas present from my mum. It makes me want to listen to techno! :)


I padded the case with quilt batting for a little added protection. Now I just need to find a press stud or something to hold it closed.


Also it was my dance partner's birthday last week, and I had this nifty idea for a birthday card.



It didn't quite turn out how I planned it, but it's okay for a first go. I had the idea when I was browsing in an electronics shop and saw those tiny little light globes. You can't really see, but I wired the globe in place and threaded seed beads onto the wires.
