Knitting question!
Mar. 21st, 2005 09:19 amI am attempting my first lace pattern, and I am having trouble with my yarn overs. Can any of you suggest a web site that has clear instructions on how to do a yarn over? I watched the video at Stitch Guide, but the example is done with English style (which I don't use) and the stitch isn't completely executed, as far as I can tell. I know I should probably be able to figure it out from the video, but doing new things in knitting freaks me the hell out.
Anyway, I have a male friend that has been learning to knit. He's very close to finishing his first scarf and I have the following conversation with him this morning:
Dpurdu (8:41:05 AM): im going to have to get you to show me how to beat off soon
Dpurdu (8:41:21 AM): i only have a tiny bit of yarn left then my scarf be finished
B to the Ethy (8:42:28 AM): BIND off
B to the Ethy (8:42:30 AM): bind.
Dpurdu (8:42:35 AM): not beat?
B to the Ethy (8:42:35 AM): NOT beat. >_<
