Paper making is fun
May. 5th, 2005 10:44 pmI knew I wasn't going to do any homework anyway, so, instead of procrastinating, I kept busy knitting (pictures in a week or so) and making

This one was scanned. You can really see the grain. The other papers are closer to this texture than they appear. Stuck in piece of a dried flower that fell apart.

Oooh. More flowers not really pressed in.

I actually mixed in leaves with my pulp (the lil green flecks), then embedded long leaves. the long leaves were imbedded too deepely and you can only see 2 of the 6 i put in. Oh well. WARNING: Always make sure that a leaf smells good BEFORE you blend it and have it mushed up in your pulp. These leaves smelled foul.

My favy. Dead dried flowers. They were dead before they were dried, hence their haphazard petals.
All of them were sprayed with happy mind and body calming spray stuff because it smells so good. The one with the ground up leaf has a lot more spray on it than the others, heh.
I use the pour mold method.
