once upon a time there was a footstool covered with what used to be a nice green striped upholstery. extensive use rendered it disgustingly dirty. according to the boy, it also hurt your calves if used it for too long. so, i added my renderings of birdies to turquoise & yellow vinyl plus 3 inches of densified-batting padding and got this super cute, super comfy, spill-resistant footstool.









i have plans to sand & refinish the wood portions, but that's a task for another day.
