Wooo! Hat!
May. 21st, 2005 10:38 pmSo, I'm currently working on making a website to sell my crochet monsters/animals on, and my roommate the graphic design major is helping me out with my graphics. So I have made her a crochet hat in return (and bought expensive fancy paper for her, haha).

I crocheted it single crochet in a big tube the size of her head, then I stitched it closed at the top. Then I stitched the two corners so that it made ears, because she doesn't own a single had without ears. I used Paton's Bohemian in Indigo Indulgence. That has to be the softest yarn I've ever used, but it was a pain to work with because you couldn't see the stitches at all!

That is more of what it will look like. The first picture showed the ears well, but this is what it looks like sitting on someone's head.
My first hat that looks normal! Yay!
