acrylic medium as marble magnet glue..
Dec. 16th, 2002 08:37 pmI never knew how wonderful acrylic medium really was until now. People always told me it could be used as a glue, but damn! That stuff is incredible. I do have some forewarning though. I first attempted to used Utrecht gloss medium that comes in a tube. I hate that version for painting, it's so gloppy and gooey. Sadly, it's not much better for magnets. It ruined a lovely rightous babe magnet, made it all cloudy and pasty inside.
I've been using liquitex gloss medium, and according to what the first person who suggested acrylic medium said, liquitex matte medium works too. It holds beautifully, dies completely clear, and is not nearly as smelly as some of those other glues, not to mention you can use it for a billion other things...
Does anyone know if it will also work in place of modge podge?
