Has anyone ever painted on shoes? I couldnt find any great tutorials. I used this marker that is supposed to be used like a stamp pad for stamps, except its a marker. its a metallic gold, and i drew on some dark blue shoes, it came out neat, i sprayed a few layers of clear coat on it. I havent worn them out yet, so I dont know how reliable this will be. i have been looking for other markers that will have the same 'paint effect' does anyone reccomend a certain brand? I did find some paint pens, but they were expensive. does anyone know if these ever go on sale? Are there any other steps i should be taking, and does anyone have any shoe tutorials? how would I paste/what would I use, for the fabric? Whats the best thing to use to glue things like buttons to shoes? I tried using a glue gun, but it didnt totally stick. PS. i am mainly interested in decorating dress type shoes, not canvas material ones. Thanks!
