Doll making - eyelashes

craftgrrlI'm making small dolls' heads from fimo clay, and I have found one great problem: eyelashes. They can't be painted on, and the heads are too small (about 2"/5 cm) for me to use eye lashes for humans. Does anybody have an idea on how I can make semi-realistic eyelashes?
And while we're on the eyes, anybody got any tips for painting the eye brows without messing up the doll? I'm no Monet, to put it like that, and often prefer to use a pen, but this has proven disastrous at previous occasions, and I don't want to destroy this one. any tips?
