Hello! Long time lurker, first time poster.

I read tarot cards in my spare time, and decided last night that I should make my own deck. I'm a huge Desperate Housewives fan and thought it'd be particularly awesome to make a complete DH deck using the appropriate artistically-altered screencaps and images... and while it works in my head, I have no idea what kind of paper to use! I like that my deck now has slightly rounded edges, and is nice and thick for shuffling, but I have no idea how to go about making these cards. Do you think I could make them mostly on the computer, print out the images and then use a thick laminate to make them sturdy, or is there a better way of going about this? I want the cards to be uniform in size and edges, is there a tool for cutting rounded edges uniformly? I know there's a regular paper cutter with the grid on it for making lots of papers the same size and all, but I don't want straight edges on the corners.
I'm going to take my time on this project, but any pointers you could give before I set out to do this would be awesome.

(I figured somebody in the world already thought of this, or maybe not, but since I don't have any exclusive handwritten permission to use DH stuff I'm not going to try to sell my deck on eBay, or be a nazi about other people taking the idea, so by all means go for it if it interests you.)

:) Thanks in advance. <3
