New Purse-y!!

I made a new purse tonight! I told my best friend I'd make her one. It's my favorite one I've made so far. I love it!

check it out: She loves blue, so naturally, I made it in blue. I got the polka dotted fabric on sale at walmart and the blue at joann's for pretty cheap. I prolly spent less than 5$ on this bag.

You can't see the strap, I was too tired to get the shot right. It's long, though. Not over the shoulder long, but on the shoulder long.

and the cute little pocket in the front. i love it.

 

I might add velcro to close it, but I'll see what she wants first. It took me a while to make cause I have never cut out each individual little piece and sewed it all together with sides and a bottom like that. She did something really really awesome for me, so I thought I'd repay her a little by trying my hardest not to mess up. I think I did a pretty good job, what do you think?
