Flying with stitching tools

craftgrrlHi, this is my first post here and I am loving seeing all the projects. A little envious of everyone's skills, too..
I do needlework and am wondering what the rules are and people's experience with bringing stitching tools (needles, embroidery scissors) on airplanes? I'm mainly worried about my scissors, which are very small, sharp, and precise. Will they be confiscated if I try to bring them on an airplane?
