for some reason, every time i was about to bid on a sewing machine, my power would go out. its been doing this for the past 3 days! but today, i found one that was nicely priced so i snatched it up! i bought This sewing machine :) i'm excited. i guess it was meant for me to find this one. it was $75 because the shipping was $20. it was a floor model i think. anyway, i've got a question. to all of sewers, did you teach yourself, or did you take classes? i really want to teach myself but what do you think? i've taught myself how to do other crafty things like making jewelry, i do that pretty well, but i'm not sure about sewing. are there any good books you reccomend?
