So my friend's birthday is coming up and she has this thing for anime and all and somehow I got to the thought that maybe I should make her an felted anime dude/thing/whatever. (Grammar Nazis please don't kill me)

Wow, to all you needle felters out there. It's not as easy as it seems (although it's not really HARD) and that may've been a duh but yeah. It looked literally like a piece of turd at first and making the hair was heck (think spiky asssymetrical anime hair) so I just settled on "curly" (?) hair. At the moment, it's bodyless but my other friend says I should just keep it as a head so as to avoid future destruction of a semi-decent job.

Oh, and that random white thing on her head is a pom... pom? Suddenly the word escapes me, but those round things that are sometimes on top of beanies. The hair was causing me grief, so I ended that problem right quick. OH yeah.

Forgive my semi-delusional entry. :) I just woke up with an urge to share and so I'm still in that one-eye closed, the other eye-squinting, confused yet enlightened state of mind. But I just wanna say you lovelies are vonderful and talented! (killer combo, donchakno?!)
