today i finally got around to buying, painting
and antiquing a frame for this cross-stitched piece that
i designed and embroidered two years ago while living in London:



the design is 3.5" square in a 5" sqaure frame.

the saying depicted was found one evening whilst perusing an
old compendium of 19th century knowledge. the book was great;
there was a huge section in it devoted to phrenology.
it was loads of fun at parties.
