We've had a spell of heat lately so since it was too hot (yes. 70 degrees is too hot for me) to do anything, I decided to take advantage of sunpower. Not only did I sun all my old vintage coats (hurrah!) I hosed down my bike and finally finished this:

I would have before photos but I think they're on the memory card that I lost.. feh. But it was a plain school issue (haha! nicked from my stupid school) brown "leather" record player. I painted about five layers of white on it, taped the accents, and did coats of black. Then I sealed it with sparkly iridescent clear glaze. Woo! go cheap acrylic paints. These pictures don't do it justice, it gleams in person.

I was going to do something on the top but I got lazy but I'm thinking about decopauging photobooth strips onto it; yes or no?

I applied the same black/glaze method to provide a mat for my new Sufjan Stevens poster. I had a hard time photographing this; I'll probably post a picture when it's hung.
