craftgrrl | Crafty travel idea (Reply)

Ok it's sort of crafty - but I'm going to New Zealand in February for a month and it looks like I'm not going to have a digital camera to take with me and I hate how expensive film developing is so I'm going to try to limit my film photos as much as possible.

So I came up with a really nifty idea. I'll buy a post card at each place I go and on the back of the post card I'll write what I thought/felt/saw at that place. When I get home I'll take all the post cards and find some nice nifty way to bind them all together so that I have a unique travel journal with corresponding 'photos' of what I'm talking about.

Granted it's not that 'crafty' but I thought it was a nifty idea for anyone who might be traveling. It's also a unique way to make a travel journal for someone - make the front and back of a plain journal out of post cards or old stamps or something.
