My husband bought a new "Bass Pod," which is some fancy thing for Bass players, but that's not the important part.  The important part is he looked all over town for a case and couldn't find one, so I made this...

The thing called "Pod", and the bag:

ACalvin Klein bedsheet became the lining:

(I also put some quilt batting and very stiff/thick interfacing in there too)

And everything all packed up:

Fabric was cordorouy from 99 cent bin.  The straps came from a purse I don't like, and the iron on patch has been sitting in my craft bin for over a year, just waiting for this opportunity.  Dimensions are about 15x25, He was pretty jazzed about the whole thing.
