Pet Costumes?

I saw an adorable pumpkin costume for dogs at the pet store today, but thought it couldn't be terribly difficult, so went searching for patterns. Joann's only had one pattern, that was $15! So. Does anyone know of free or cheap patterns for pet halloween costumes? The printed pattern I found was mostly for 'cloakish' patterns - wizard, vampire, etc. Worse comes to worse, I can just sew a semi circle, right? Let me know if you gals have any references. :o)
