Lead Balloon
Sep. 11th, 2005 01:18 amIn this PIC of a nearly completed pane, you can see how I use the lead circles to fill out my stained glass window design ... as well as the fact that I've run out of leading. Grr! Pft! Grr!
Oh, I forgot to mention another step in the process is scrubbing the back of the plexiglass with steel wool to buff it and make it more translucent and less transparent. I usually only do this for bathroom windows. You really cannot see distinctly through this type of stained glass. However, buffing the plexiglass a bit does frost it and give more privacy.
