I just saw something cool in an outdoors store, but it was 25$! It was a water bottle with paper glued in designs on the outside. My first thought is "I can do that!"

Just one question, it was really shiny on the outside...could it have been covered in Shellac? Does that chip or eat through plastic or anything? Dishwasher safe?
